Planned scope of activities of the Pedagogical Research Methodology Section of the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the term 2020-2024:

I. Actions for the development of social research methodology, including educational research methodology

1. Data collection and quantitative and qualitative analyses on the state of education in the field of research methodology, leading to the development of recommendations for the academic community focused on educational research methodology in Poland.
2. Diagnosing and evaluating trends in the subject matter, strategies, types, patterns, and methods of conducting research in pedagogy.
3. Developing criteria for evaluating career advancement works.
4. Actions to assess and shape the conditions for publishing research in the field of pedagogy.
5. Patronage and specialist advisory for the Laboratory of Research Tools at the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences.

II. Expert activities, preparing opinions, evaluating projects, reports on the practice of educational research

For activities 1 - 4, expert reports, thematic conferences summarizing the results of the section's activities, and initiating discussions within the scientific community are planned in stages and as final outputs.
